It doesn’t help the cause that most of the so-called “woke” people seem to individually and collectively ignore the facts and reality surrounding their position. Cancel culture has led to a suppression of free speech, as people fear speaking out for fear of being canceled themselves. Cancel culture also allows for mob mentality to take over, often resulting in unjust consequences for those who have been canceled. This is the most disturbing aspect of woke culture. A person may be attacked, targeted, harassed, or worse – just for having a difference in opinion and viewpoint. This is where the road ends for harmony and creates conflict and hate between people. And the word “inclusive” means everyone, not just your point of view. There is no reason to have a conflict due to holding a different point of view, but to the “woke”, having a different opinion often “triggers” them to the point of apparent insanity. Being “woke” strangely seems much like being asleep. Unaware and unconcerned about anything else outside of themselves. It’s a recipe for disaster and has already claimed countless victims who did nothing other than hold a different viewpoint. That is not the America I great up in and not the America I want to live in. Society is respectful, considerate, and accountable. The woke culture seeks to not be accountable for even the most basic aspects of their often argumentative and unreasonable arguments. [Sources: 5]
